Always Safe

Safety Recognition

  • 2007 - Quadrant was awarded the National Association of Home Builders' "Single-family Builder Safety Program" award for builders starting more than 1,000 homes a year.
  • 2005 - Quadrant was granted Voluntary Protection Program status, the highest safety certification available to businesses. Quadrant is the only homebuilder in the nation to receive VPP Star distinction.

Always Safe - Two short words, but together they completely express Quadrant Homes' safety policies.

We are committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for each of our employees, contractors and our customers. Our concern for safety extends throughout our operations. We are supported and encouraged in this effort by Weyerhaeuser, which places a great importance on safety.

"Being safe is not an option—
it's a way of life."
Peter M. Orser, President

Visiting Your Home During Construction

While we are building your home, we have all the responsibility and liability for maintaining a safe work environment. For everyone's benefit, our safety rules are firm. We do not permit unauthorized access to the construction areas, and all houses are considered "under construction" prior to delivery. It is possible to visit your home at times, if you make arrangements ahead of time, and your CSM or superintendent accompanies you. You must, however, observe all safety policies—including wearing a hard hat, protective eye wear and hard toe shoes. We ask that you do not bring children on these visits because of the hazards associated with construction.
