Quadrant takes great pride in the homes we build and sell to our customers. We use our best efforts to deliver a high-quality home to you. Our contractors and vendors are chosen because of their commitment to quality and service. All work is done under our supervision, to meet the standards established in your Limited Warranty.

Included in this manual you'll find a sample copy CD of your Limited Warranty detailing the warranty coverage. It is very important that you read and understand the specific performance standards and Quadrant Homes' obligations and exclusions from the Limited Warranty. The Limited Warranty also explains details, methods, and procedures for how you obtain service for your warranty requests. You will receive your official copy of the Limited Warranty at closing. You and Quadrant Homes agree to be legally and contractually bound by the written standards in the Limited Warranty document.

Our criteria for qualifying warranty repairs are based on the Limited Warranty and on typical industry practices in our region. We reserve the right to repair, replace or pay reasonable costs of repairing any damaged materials. If we choose to exceed the guidelines of the Limited Warranty, that does not obligate us to exceed any other guideline to a similar degree, or for all homeowners. If you sell your home, the protection provided under the Limited Warranty is automatically transferable to subsequent purchaser during the ten-year term of the Limited Warranty.

Your home is warranted against defects in workmanship and materials for one year according to the terms of your Limited Warranty. Certain parts of the plumbing, electrical and heating systems are covered for two years. The Limited Warranty does not cover appliances, equipment and other consumer products and goods, which are covered by the manufacturers of those items.

The Limited Warranty protects your home against major structural defects for ten years.

There are literally thousands of component parts in your Quadrant home. The materials used are selected for durability, quality and ease of maintenance, and are installed by experienced tradespeople. It is important to know that your new home is a handmade product and therefore, is not perfect. The wide range of materials used in your home are sometimes subject to imperfections through handling and installation, or are the product of nature and cannot be controlled. Minor scratches, dents, or other imperfections in wood, trim, sliding glass doors, counter tops, doors, and other areas will occur and are unavoidable. Minor variations in finishes caused by natural variations in surfaces will also occur. Cosmetic imperfections and damage must be addressed prior to occupancy. Minor and hard-to-see nicks, scratches, cuts, blemishes and finish variations are not covered under the Limited Warranty.
